☀boy or girl

I thought we would start off with our most exciting news. We are expecting a little addition to the family, sometime mid June. They keep changing my due date, but I'm sticking with June 16th. Other dates have been the 13th and the 22nd. The later date is the most recent because they say this baby is measuring a little small. I said hallelujah out loud right then and there. Maren weighed 8lbs 12oz, Hazel weighed 9lbs 10oz, my goal is not to have a 10lb baby!

So hooray to a baby that is measuring a little small, for now. This one is happy and healthy by all the measurements that were taken during the ultrasound. So, you've probably skipped the reading and already checked out the video to see what this little one will be.

☀Welcome 2013

I have a feeling this is going to be a good year! When Barett and I married, the Temple Sealer talked about marriage being like a box, it will be as good as the things you put in it. If you want it to be fun, then take time to do fun things together. If you want it to be happy and full of joy, then do/say those things that make your spouse happy. If you want it to be romantic, well then you better put in some romance {you get the picture}.

This is how I view the coming year. We also had a lesson in Relief Society a while back that was very helpful for me. She had us think of the following month or semester and write down what we wanted it to be like and what we wanted to see happen, but we were writing as if it already had. I am going to do that with the next year in mind. I decide what I want out of this year, 2013, and with a baby coming in the middle, it is for sure destined to be a great year. This little one is going to bring a special spirit into our home, I can feel it.
